I recently moved to eastern kentucky....and i mean EASTERN kentucky. There seems to be very few mopars around here and I am starting to feel lonely. Anyone live around the Kentucky, West Virgina, Virgina area? I am trying to find some swap meets or car shows coming up in the spring.

well im bringing my dart down in febuary and I guess they have a cruise ever second weekend of the month so hopefully ill some more mopars...i did have a 73 dart sport blow the doors off my truck the other day. Maybe I can run him down.

It is winter after all most (by now) are sleeping in garages or getting work done on them so they can come back out even meaner then when they went in!

i am in /near martinsville va, and there a few 340 70 darts running around here, but very far and in-between, but a good amout of mopars in general.

DUSTER MANIAC, COUNT ME IN IF YOU GET ONE GOING

There are plenty around here also I live in Fredericksburg,Va..

me too... i dont see a lot driven till the car shows and stuff... i see quite a few sittin tho.

when i lived in wythe county there were tons... mostly dusters and swingers and i had a 66 fury.

well i am finally back in cincinnati where there are plenty of mopars...the only bad thing is that mine is not running and we are getting about 5 inches of the white stuff dumped on us tonight

Had my 67 barracuda out in central pa yesterday it seams to like the 25 degree days but the heater could use a tune up.

Your seeing Bowties because they are all broken down in the yards and in the driveways.
All the mopars are hangin in the garages.

So you left the sprawling metropolis of Amelia (Had an aunt that lived by the fire house in Withamsville) and moved to eastern KY??
What city?
I have friends in Williamson, W. Va. that could help with your car show help.

that is extreamly weird yellowdart...i still sorta live in amelia but im going to school down in pikeville ky. which is about twenty minutes from williamson...i am always in williamson actually...they got a nice bar. but i lived down past the firehouse about a half mile...right behind the dodge dealer...if u were in amelia the last 4 years im sure u saw my dart sometime...i got to the church across the street from that fire house and im smoking the tires in front of it every sunday morning almost. I am deffinatly listening about the wiliamson or eastern kentucky shows though.

doogie,
So your the one that is leaving marks all over by the Withamsville Church Of Christ!!
I grew up over in Forest Park. My aunt lived on Fayebanks..turn at the firehouse, go south to the 1st street on the right, turn right and it is the 2nd house from the end on the right. She passed in the early 90s.
I have a friend that lives on Locust Corner Rd about a mile east of Nine Mile.
My friend in Williamson is down in Honduras for the winter but we sorta stay in touch. His father was the med. services director for American Cyanamid (Formica) and retired to Williamson in 1974. He was offered a job to run the clinic in Delbarton,W. Va. Dr. Headley loved the people down there.

Small frickin world.

crazy dave i live right off ten mile...if your ever back in amelia for some odd reason ya got to let me know...ive got just about ever type of mopar connection around here that u would need....and yea if those marks are about 10 inches wide and usualle just one of them its me...if they are abour 8 inches wide and two of them then its my dad....we usually race down to lee's chicken after church every once in a while. The dart always smoked his fastback mustang though so he sold it to buy an a-body to. You should come up for the mopar show at that old dodge dealership. First weekend in June and there is always a good turn out plus the cops leave us alone while we burn up 125.
