My heart felt sympathies to you and your family.
It's not easy watching your parents health slowly deteriorate.

Both of my parents and my wife's parents health slowly faded.
My parents and my father in law with lung problems and my mother in law
with cancer.

It doesn't make it easier to handle if you are there when they pass.
I was at my moms bed side, but I wasn't for my dad he was in a hospital
in Denver. I'm glad my mom and brother were there with him.

Your dad is no longer suffering in pain any more that's a blessing.

You have my deep sympathy. As others said, your Dad's suffering has ended. I believe it was God's plan for his sister and girlfriend to be there with him when he passed on. The part you played in the plan was exactly what you were meant to do. Don't question or doubt that.

Aw, man. I feel for ya. Lost my father to cancer (a month and four days shy of all of fifty-eight whole entire years old) eleven years ago. Peace to you and him both.
 
GOD bless you Mike and your pop, so so hard, we fought alheimers with my mother in law for 18 years, a crappy life, she did not know anyone for last 10 years. Man it sucks all these bad things, life is not fair and I pray to GOD he has a safe comfotable everlasting home for him. When it is his time, pray on it brother.

Mike, I am not the praying kind, but reading what you have been and are going through, I felt the need to reach out and say that I will keep you and your family in my hopes. My mother past away very young and it was very fast, so we were fortunate in that, and I hope that whatever God you believe in answers your prayers, and that this fine man is taken to a better place.
