well hold on...... you can use ANY wire as long as it is the same gauge AND the same color as the wire being replaced
You do not want to replace a 14 gauge wire with an 18 gauge wire under stress it will likely burn..... most auto parts stores carry different gauges of stranded wire....as does Home depot
for a replacement harness, unless you plan on spending large money you will likely only find USED sets
OR if you plan to replace EVERYTHING you can go painless or kwik wire..... but I am telling THAT is a JOB
