I just got a 70 Dart sedan for driving through the winter. How can you tell which slant it has; 198 or 225? Also did this year still have LH treaded lug nuts?

You can tell which engine it was built with by looking at the 5th character of the VIN; a "B" is a 198 and a "C" is a 225. You can tell which engine it has by reading the engine ID number stamped at the top of the block deck, facing the sky, below the frontmost spark plug, inboard of the alternator/coil bracket. You will have to scrape away the grease and gunk. Post what you find here and someone'll decode it for you.

Also did this year still have LH treaded lug nuts?

Yes.
