looking to move south?

i would love to move south which is in my near future. im looking at going to north carolina around statesville area or mt.airy. havent really thought much about tennesee although if i could ever get my house sold , i would be interested in looking into your area. sounds nice being near the mountains and all.

i feel your pain for 5 years i looked around NC. even had a head hunter looking for work in my line,,

every time i visited NC for any reason,good guys event,,vacation,,,some employer of large mass was cutting jobs or closing the doors,, phillip mossis shut down 3400 jobs in concord, freight liner in statesville,,around 3000 jobs,,beautiful area and some great people,, but unless your retired or have a disability insurance claim with permenant income,, you be lucky to get a part time job un less your in banking,,,thats charlottes areas claim to fame,,

some time in the next couple years ide like to slow down, down size and move south,,find an 8 hour a day job at lowes or some thing and enjoy life been working 12 hour shifts since i was 18 now 52 do the math,,,,
