Help me pick a front tire...

I need some help deciding what tire to put on the front of my Dart. It is a 67 that has been converted over to 73-76 discs. My wheel is 15X6 with 3.5 inches of backspacing, and have already been purchased. It will be used for cruise nights, beer runs, and an occasional spirited drive down the highway. I am running P325/,50R15 MT ET Drag radials on the back.

I have been leaning towards P195/65R15 because I think the 25 inch diameter is close to being the stock size, diameter wise. I don't want there to be any issues of having to trim the fender. I would like something with a highway style tread, but realize most every tire is an all season anymore.

I'm not askin' what you're running. Unless you have a 67-69 that has been converted to BBP brakes. So what do you got? What do you recommend?!? Thanks everyone!!

I've got a '67 barracuda with BBP disc brakes from a duster...

I've got 15x7inch rims with 4 inches backspace. The rims fit great, clear everything. I can tell you P225x60's don't clear the front of the wheel well in a turn. I have P215x60 and they fit great, I think there about 25.4 inches tall.

Lots of people running a 215-60-15 (24.7") this is shorter than stock but it is what I ran when I had 15s.

205-65-15 should also be very close to stock height (25.5") but I am the only one that ever mentions it.

An E70-14 was 25.7" I think (this is what I have on my car now).

$259 each for a BFGoodrich tire with a red stripe on it?!? Thanks, but no.

The 195/65R15 are 25" in diameter, which I figured was pretty close to stock. Not going to AutoX the car, and it doesn't have power steering, so I don't want to run too wide of a tire.

This is where im getting my redlines. Im going fat on the rear on a 15x8 steel wheel.

I think I may go with these P195/65R15 Michelins. They have a great rating on Tirerack.com and I should be able to get them wholesale local with no shipping and tax for less than a $100 each.
