ok. how about. 1998 TOYOTA 4runner. 248,000 miles. been laid on its side by the wife in bad weather,burns a half a quart of oil in 5,0000 mi. the oil never looks dirty,i started changing it at 10,000 mi because it is clean until then! daughter is now driving it to college. i had a used 1982 toyota 4x4 just out of high school. when i sold it it was showing 330+ on it and i know it had more because i always ran big tires on it. wheeled it and mud bogged it every weekend. never put a u-joint in it! oil,timing chains,and a ring and pinion at 250,000!
i have a buddy that bought a brand new passat diesel i think it was. loved the mileage,couldn't work on it without special tools,cost him a furtune for repairs. mind you he is an industrial mechanic! he said it just isn't worth it. i tried to tell him that when he bought it!
my mom has had like six subaru's. superior all wheel drive,and a great car all the way around. that is why they ruled world ralley racing!
