I am in the process of putting a 440 in my 74 Dart Sport. I am going to be converting it from Power brakes to manual. What is all needed to do this conversion. Master cyl adapter and rod? Also what is a good master cylinder to use that still gives you good braking?
 
I didnt think the masters were different from power to manual, just from disk to drum. You will need a different pushrod though.
 
The bore of the MC is different between manual and power so you will need a manual MC. You will need the rod but the MC bolts directly to the firewall so no adapter needed unless you plan to use a late model MC with the plastic resevior.
 
Thanks guys. Is there a master that works better than others? Something that anyone would recomend?
