Hooker super comps STOCK SUSPENSION

I had to disconnect my centerlink and run it through a space between the pipes on the driver side header on my 68 Barracuda. The instructions from Hooker mentioned that this may be required on certain models. It also mentions some cars will require raising the engine 3nches to install headers. I installed Hooker Competition headers PN#5901 on my car, not sure if Super Competition headers has a whole different set of issues when installing. If some company could design headers so that nothing needs to be removed modified or altered in anyway, so that one could just slide the header straight in and have no clearance issues with power steering gears or any other component on the car they would make a killing. Everyone that owns a muscle car would buy their headers only and no else's.

doesnt that mean that all the cars must have been built right in the first place, and not been altered over time aswell? to be honest there is noway one can design a set of 1piece headers that will install without some dissasemble and asembly of the rest of these cars there is just not that much space,it could be done if they are multipiece with slipjoints here and there but then people would complain about that they may not seal up perfectly and that they cant get the slipjoints to fit togheter after dropping a pipe on the floor. i built a set of 2"primary tube headers that will install without lifting the engine or any other kind of dissasemly on my car with powersteering and all tubes under chassies and over centerlink but there is noway they could be produced for others since there is to many diferences in these cars..
