Hi, I installed a piece of pipe.. about 2 meters 2x1 ... not a good choice, but good enought for the moment.

We´re testing for small amounts of time because water pump and exhaust.. but here is tooooo hot.. about 30 celsius (86F).

I also got an old fuel pump to test engine and carb .. hope to get iddle working now.

nice catch,, any pics of how it should look?? cant rememebr how it looks even tho ive done my own,,

Hi

"DI" side must point to the oil side.. As we want to seal the gearbox, "DI" must point to the gearbox and "DE" to the engine.

As you can see, I installed it just the oposite. I was having a bad day and didn't notice it.

forgett the car lets see some more wife :) cars looking great to man hahahaha

what kind of problems with the hood hinges are you having?

Hi dusterbd13.. the hood hing insn't folding. I think it opened more than it should and when I push the hood to close it, the hinges tend to fold the wrong way.

I will put them (both hinges) in my workbench and check if their backstop have to be repaired.

More wife? no no no :bootysha::bootysha::bootysha::bootysha::bootysha:

I will make her a web site to display her photos as model

Alex...you will want to weld a washer on the post that the hinges slide over....I guess it's the same as 67-69 cuda's?

The hinge will press off the clip that holds it on now if allowed to flex side to side that much and the hood will fall on the cowl ruining your bodywork/paint. sounds like th ebushings on the hinge are shot and some weldomatic work is required...

Ask me how I know.....ooops.

Mop

thats exactly what you describe. when I tried to close the hood, hings almost flex to side and almost run out of the car..

I removed the lower hinge clips to close hood.. when I need to open it, I put a big wood stick to keep it opened (an old broom)

I think you know it with a very very bad experience :angry7:

I'm not sure if they are the same as 67-69 cuda´s; I found a picture here in Fabo
as I know, Brazilian darts are based on 68-69 American darts

My hinges would not fold when I put them on the car. I had to take them back off and found that they were rusted. I put them in my vice and bead them with a dead blow hammer until they would move.
