Guess the $'s for a 70 factory 340 Duster

Well, an "authentic" restoration it is not. '71 paint scheme, painted dual mirrors, exhaust tips, incorrect battery. I'm stunned it reached the drunken price of 38k last year. If it hasn't sold already, I would guess a more realistic 18-22k range, depending on condition. The FC7 '71 4 speed should go a bit higher, however the color has been changed. Why must every mopar musclecar be repainted a high impact? The original Autumn bronze is a beautiful color.

Regarding the 70 H code at auction, a 99% correct restoration, real FJ5 70 340 Duster 4 speed sold at auction in the mid 30's in late 2010. It was worth every penny. Most people overlook them because they aren't flashy enough. It's nice to see when their sleeper status remains in tact.
