Anyone seen the new car craft Demon Project car?

here's a chopped Dart that has a removable Carson top
Ok, that one has an argument for being a hot rod. It's a "custom" if you want to be technical, but you've got a point. Its been modified enough to change genre's.

I'd still call the chopped '68 Polara a muscle car. But that's just my opinion.

What do you think it is called when a guy puts a 71 frontend on a 73? HOT RODDING!

That's an easy one JR! That's called a clone, or a tribute car. I'm putting a '71 front end on my '72 Challenger, and I wouldn't call that hot rodding for a second. It's a bolt on operation with factory parts, to make it look like a factory
car. It just makes your '73 muscle car look like a '71 muscle car.

As far as the Car Craft project goes, it's not really even a helpful article. No Mopar guy with a Demon wants an LS1 in it, no Chevy guy is going to buy a Demon, and no non-affiliated car guy (if there is such a thing) with half a brain would do it because at the end of it the LS1 will be worth more if it's not in the Demon, and the Demon will be worth more without the LS1. Its like throwing away time and money.
