67 dart hot rod or stock?

You will have to weigh it out as far as the originality thing goes. Did you see the guy in Mopar Action that did a total resto on a 1970 valiant 4dr? Spent like 100 grand or something like that. Granted the car is not worth that much but now it is a certified car that could be used as an example for other resto's. Be careful, the resto route is a slippery slope if you want to do it correctly. The thing is, how far do you want to go?
Original is original and anything else is not. It could really get expensive to go back to original if you want to find things like original belts, tires, hoses and al those little things. (the mopar resto crowd are a tough bunch to make happy. they will give you a hard time for the smallest of details, god forbid if you have overspray in the wrong spot)
I'd go with something you can enjoy, whatever that may be. That is why I would pick the non-stock route. It's more fun driving these things and not worrying about it.
oh well, just my .02 worth. That dart would be neet with a 340 & 4spd!
