Best mounting location for new floor shifter

Just my opinion………

Nothing about that shifter will ever look stock.

Sit in the driver seat.

Adjust seat to your driving position.

Put the shifter in it's center position.

Move the entire shifter assembly to where it feels most natural in your hand.


Mount the shifter there.
