Beautiful lady with a beautiful voice!!
Thank you SCredneck, I had to keep my eye on all the men that go ta bothering her sometimes in the fields and orchards :happy10: as you can imagine

What a pure voice, and she knew how to "sell" the song to the listener. Your Mom took me on an emotional journey in just two minutes. Thank you for letting us experience a type of music we rarely hear anymore. :angel5: I bet she was the kind of lady who always tried to make a contribution in whatever setting she was in.
I sure can relate the sell and a great story teller and she was very smart and could read people like a book. She new how to make paper air plains for us as children that could fly like a circling jet :happy10: I will never forget these days, but why is it I can't remember what I did yesterday :toothy10:

that was very pretty, I'm too sappy for this. :p
strange how she's living through you and touching us now, singing a song to strangers about the very thing (well kinda).

thanks mike
I hear ya 1969dodgedartgt, Thank you :happy10: Living though me :happy10: Yes!! wow!! Thank you for your thoughts and I am so glad you enjoyed that music from back in about 1963 :happy10:

Wow, what a voice! Thanks so much for sharing that Mike. Nice to music to wake up to.

That family reunion must have great!
It sure was Joe :-D:-D It almost made it to day light the next morning 8)8)8)8)
I was almost 5 years old when she sang that song and when she was sitting on the cough and seeing her on tv at the same time was mind boggling to me I remember 8)

Wow Mike, Nella and I just listened to your Moms beautiful voice and it really brings a warm feeling to our hearts to hear her. Your pictures also give us a great insight to your history and what made you the person you are today. It's not often you get to enjoy someones life through a journey like this, and we are very proud to know that you have been able to enjoy life with such a rich heritage. Your Mom's voice is so beautiful, you should be very proud, and I know you are. Thanks for sharing her with us!! Have a great day from your friends Geof and Nella!!
I am so glad You and Nella enjoyed this thread :happy10:
My grandmother and I was the best team out in the apple orchards
I was slinging 14" wooden ladders and she had the fast hand bottoming out the lower limbs full of apples :happy10: Not a pair of men in the orchard could keep up with us by the time I was 13 :happy10: Thank you Geof, I am glad I could return a warm feeling with the help of mom. :happy10:
