Currently have a 72 D100 with 225/slant-6 that I may be trading for the blue, 83 Ramcharger that has a 440/727.
My "daily-driver" is a 1997 Ram 4X4 with 5.9L/auto, 8 inch total lift and 37in Super Swampers.
Wife had a silver, 2007 LoneStar Edition quad cab that we recently traded in for the "Austin Tan", 2010 LoneStar Edition Crew Cab with 5.7 Hemi.
Our Father / Son project car is a 1974 Dart Swinger with 318/904 that is 'Avacado Gold Poly' in color. We also have a 73, 4-door donar Dart in a storage unit that will eventually give its motor, dash, and any other part we want to the Swinger. Are we a MOPAR family or what!

Yep, we're into trucks as well. Our 2010 Ram 4.7 SLT 4WD short bed regular cab and our 87 D100 regular cab short bed with a 72 slant with a Super Six. My son is borrowing our 93 Dakota 3.9 we bought new (no picture).

love those, some people moved into a house across the street with a very clean black one from arizona

Added a chrome diff cover to my 97 Ram 4X4 that the wife and boys got me for Christmas. I wasn't to thrilled to find parts in the bottom of the diff but it looked like it had been there for some time and there has been no change in how it drives this past week. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Wow!! Those pieces look big enough to be carrier shims but if a shim or 2 came out you'd think it'd have excessive backlash and be noisy??? If I were you I'd take those pieces to the local Dodge dealer and show them to a mechanic to figure out what they are. IMO you have a ticking time bomb there. Also, by the look of the picture the differential is tilted up a lot in the front. That'll starve the front pinion bearing for oil. Probably since you have it jacked up so high you need to use some shims to get the driveshaft angle back where it needs to be. By the look it's a wonder it doesn't vibrate and eat U-joints for lunch. The incorrect driveshaft angle is possibly why you have broken parts.

Button, I had pieces like that in my Dakota when I got it. It was broken clutches from the sure grip. $60 clutch pack kit, rebuilt and have put 100,000 trouble free miles on it since.
Here are some pics of my trucks. 98 Dakota 318 5spd and 77 Warlock 360 auto I still have. 81 Ram 318 auto and 88 TBI 318 4 spd are long gone.

Here's my 99 2500 4-door long bed 4 X 4 w/Cummins and A/T.

I had a chance 3 years ago to pick up a 65 A-100 for $1K, but I missed my chance because the wife said no. She was right at the time, we didn't have room and I had too many projects. I have room today, but still too many projects.
