I don't really know too much about the history of the car. I believe that the color change happened in 1986. I would imagine that a whole 70 blue dash was swapped out of another car to help with the color change, but I don't really know. It is a very early 71 model, so I also thought that maybe they hadn't changed over to the 71 style dash yet. I have no idea.
I was told when I got the car that the engine is original and basically stock except the carb and valve covers. It has a Thermoquad, just not the correct numbers carb. I have one, but it needs rebuilt. The transmission is not the original 727.
I do not have the fan shroud. Currently the car has an electric fan.
This car was converted to big bolt pattern at some time in the past, and has 15x6 and 15x7 Rallyes on it now.
I'm sorry I don't have better answers. I have only had the car for a few months. I do have the ability to contact the previous owner, so I may be able to come up with more answers. The car came out of Seattle. I'm sure some of you guys over there recognize it.
