Well I figured I would start a thread on the 68 Cuda I,m in the middle of purchasing.I,ve reached a deal with the owner,member(PlumCrazy704406)for his Cali Cuda he had shipped up from Cali. last year.I went lastnight to meet him and see the car in person.I must say Martin was more than willing to let me look over the car quite extensively. We even pulled the backseat to find the teletype run sheet intact stuffed in the springs. This was a bonus to find in prestine condition. Now I,ve followed his thread on this car and knew if he ever put the car up for sale,I would be jumping at the chance to buy my dream car. So,thank you Martin for being the gentleman you are and letting me go over the car.We reached a deal and the car will stay in his warehouse til the money is in his hand and I can get the car out of his warehouse. My trailer is in storage with my 73 Dart Sport inside,so I,m hoping my race buddy can pick the car up for me with his enclosed. We,ll see.Anyway,thank-you Martin for making a dream come true for me.One more tic off the bucket list LOL.Here,s some pics of the car. It,s a #,s matching 318 A/c car with burgundy interior. He has swapped out the 7 1/4 for a 8 3/4 with 3.55,s:thumleft:I found no rust whatsoever on this car.

I tell ya..Some people have all the luck!! I love the interior to Scott! Way to go!! You must drive it to Spring fling, and Mopar Fest!!

Wow.........that does look nice........Obviously not mistreated during her lifetime.......somebody took good care of her.

I'm not a fan of red interiors either, BUT those 60's A's seem to have some real "pizazz" that some others lack. Nice stuff. :thumleft:

You lucky dog you!!! Because your getting this come summer I want a picture of were someone walks into something because they were looking at the car!

I,m not a big fan of red myself, all my cars and truck are blue LOL.I will learn to live with it.Down the road if I repaint,it will go silver or charcoal grey. That,s a long way off from now.;-)

I really like that burgandy interior...congrats on landing a such a fine 'Cuda.
Thanks, but member PlumCrazy has done all the foot work getting this car shipped up from California.I was just lucky enough to keep my eye on it,when I seen it pop up for sale I knew I had to have it.Now I have to work mega overtime to pay for it.LOL.

Craig, you know what cars in our area are like. They,ve either been restored or rotten. It,s nice to see/get a nice unmolested car.My mind is hurting from thoughts on what to do with her.

You are so right Scott and that is one reason why I am so jealous!! That interior is sharp. Nicely optioned car too! Love the interior color and the shape of it!!!:thumleft:

Good for you man. I like to hear stories of when a deal goes thru the right way and both parties are happy. Doesnt seem to be the norm around here lately! Make sure you keep us posted with the progress pics.

I wake from a nap to see this great news Scott :eek:ccasion::eek:ccasion:\\:D/
You are now a Plymouth owner and it's a 68 Barracuda :color::hello1:
I am sooooo Happy for you :happy2::hello2:

Nice car there Scott, one Question did the L.A. plant under coat there cars,I thought all Cal cars had no undercoating.

Not sure where the car was built Snake,I do know the last owner was in Cali.An old man bought the car new, then passed it down to his son.The son wasn,t a car guy and sold to PlumCrazy704406.This is about as much as I know now,but will findout more about the car once it,s in my possession.

OVERTIME, what is that?

Guess they are selling something, hard to tell at our plant, we have less than 350 employees total

won't be long and it will be good bye Indianapolis steering gear plant

Nice car, I would like to have another nice 67 Barracuda coupe, but have had 2 coupes and one convertible, maybe if I ever get another barracuda I might need a fastback

I know where a really nice 67 coupe is but he wanted stupid money for it a few years ago.
