Carb(s) and manifold question- OPINIONS WANTED!

(CID divided by 2) times ( max RPM divided by 1728 ) times (volumetric efficiency).......
(340 divided by 2) times ( 6500 divided by 1728 ) times (85%V.E.)........
(170) times (3.76) times .85= 543 CFM
Seems like a 750 would be overkill for a smallblock?
