Make an offer on any of the following:

Standard issue 68 Dart Hood in very good condition.

Drivers and passenger side outer door handles, still in bags from purchase last year.

(2 sets) Drivers and passenger side tail light assemblies, buckets, trim ,and lenses, chrome is pitted and 1 lens is missing.

5000 stall converter for 727 trans

Drivers and passenger side kick panels, dark green.

Mancini Racing torsion bar adjuster (new) MRE35612

Drivers side mirror, standard issue not a sport mirror.

Im taking the 4:30 gears out and putting in some more "streetable" gears, if anyone is interested in buying them let me know, just the gears not the case.


I live in SC so shipping has to be considered but I'm sure we can figure that out.

Tell me a little more about the convertor. Brand, new, used etc
 
The converter is used and is 10",5000 stall...make an offer, I have no idea what to ask for it. I'm looking for a 2800-3000 for the street, maybe we can work out a deal if you can help me out.

The 4:30 gears are in a 489 case right now, I will take them out if someone wants them..price? $50 sound ok?

Door handles...paid $150, how about $75.

Yes, How much to ship the gears to 33619.
 
This is not to be taken as a rant or a whine just buyer feedback
I accept responsibility for my purchase since I didn't ask all the right questions. I leaped before I looked.

"Still in bags from purchase last year" and even "paid $150" doesn't reveal whether the parts were new or used when purchased.
When they are used parts with pits, scratches, cross threaded bolt holes, whatever.... please say so in the description.

Here's my theory...
Someone bought new handles and used only the outer portions and mounting gaskets. The new mechanical bits were placed in these used handles, bags resealed.
 
I sent a pm to the seller and explained that these door handles weren't what I expected and ask if I could return them for a refund. His reply was, "sure , no problem". So I sent them back.
Today I don't have the parts or the money.
Time will tell if I am super understanding or just super stupid.
Meanwhile the handles are again available I suppose.
If I was putting my 68 back together the handles would have been worth 40 to 50 bucks for that car. They aren't what I wanted to put in the closet with my vert restoration pieces.
Would your buying these parts at a realistic price get me a partial refund ? Who knows ?.....
 
Bump. I still don't have parts or refund from this guy. Buyer beware
 
Unfortunate. Hope it works out ok. Conversation and pictures always help me when I buy stuff... or sell stuff for that matter.

Bump Still no refund. Still don't understand why this clown said I could send the parts back for refund if he couldn't send the money back.
I have a pic of his car with "LOSER ON BOARD" written on the side.
Haven't decided if I'll just post it here or make it my avatar.

No number of posts would reflect a persons character or honesty. You'll have to bend over to know if you'll be screwed.
 
Same thing happened to me, I even helped him on is carb problems and he seemed cool, But only had 18 post's I shipped the ready to go 1 bl never to hear from him again..
I learned the hard way and skittish to ever do it again...
He is a poser I bet and is back with us under a different user name. :eek:fftheai: hiding just to strike again....

I hope he is enjoying his Valiant, and bits into an apple and finds half a worm in it :rambo:

I am really sorry to see that you and memike got burned by this guy. I hope it turns out better than it appears. To be honest, I didn't see this thread first time around.

But, when I saw it today, my BS guard went up as soon as I saw 5,000 stall converter. To have a 5,000 stall converter, you better have some serious horsepower and some cash, or all the fins are just laid over and it is trash. NFW does he not know anything more about it than he says.
