Theres no performance gain between a manual and electric choke period. Any body that truly believes this has a lack of knowledge. The carb needs to be tuned. That IS the bottom line.
Not true. Look up the differences in Edelbrock manual and electric choke carbs.
The manual choke carbs are calibrated for performance rather than mileage,while the electric choke carbs are calibrated for maxium fuel economy.
