What color should my E.C.U. box be?

The ragtop is running fine on an black box E.C.U. from F.B.O. systems, and I've had no ignition problems yet. Another thread in this forum mentioned a "Chrome" box.

My (sometimes fuzzy) memory tells me that MOPAR had a chrome box, but it was for racing only. I never knew why. I've also seen blue and the old standard orange boxes.

So, anyone ever done a rundown on the performance of the several different color E.C.U. boxes out there? Is there any rhyme or reason to what color the box is, as far as performance and reliability? The Summit online catalog shows two of the old style modules. The only difference Summit shows is color and price, and no reason to select one or the other.
