Spool vs. Biscuit Mount

This inquiry is in regard to my 1972 Coronet , but should be generic to all vintage MoPars :

The trans mount is junk in my Coronet . It was replaced 3 years ago --- for free --- when the trans was rebuilt ( 904-LA ) ; it is now trash .

Since I want to avoid buying the garbage mounts that parts stores carry ( they're all the same : Chinese **** ! ) , and since I got a Poly mount from a friend of mine ( he converted his Satellite to a Keisler 5 speed ) , I'm wanting to use this . The problem is my Coronet ( late 1972 build : 07/1972 ) has the spool mount , whereas the Poly mount is biscuit-style .

I've read somewhere that these mounts are actually interchangeable ; is this true ?
I know that manual trans mounts and T-Flite mounts are the same , but wasn't sure about the spool-to-biscuit deal .

I hope I can just plug that made-in the-U.S.A. Poly mount , and therefore avoid buying yet another Chinese piece-of-**** part that won't last :angry8: .

Thanks much !
