Behold! MMG's New Ride.

-
Well here she is, tucked away in her new home. Today I spent the day degreasing the engine and cleaning the car from top to bottom. I don't think the car had been washed in years. The engine bay was brown and so was the trunk. The trunk was piled with OEM parts and boxes. Included was the ac sytem, brand new door panels still in the plastic, the dual snorkel super commando air cleaner with ID Plate, etc. Just like Christmas. The car had a Chrome air cleaner on it, but I putting the OEM dual snorkel back on instead. The car cleaned up great:thumblef:. Next is to do the basics, plugs, spiro-pro wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil and oil filter, air cleaner, fuel filter, etc. I'm taking photos of the resurrection of this Mopar treasure, so I will share them with you. Dude, that is one sweet ride. Having extra parts to sort through in the trunk is just like a bonus round.

I HATE you........nice car........but I still HATE you......

What exactly is that color? Simply amazing on her.........nice find and great luck with her

I am seriously torn between which I like more, the belve or the shop, and I REALLY like the belve....congrats shes a gem! :)

Congrats...you are really making miss my old Belvedere...

I painted mine dark green on my parent's driveway when I was in college, it had a two tone green interior (like your door panel picture) and the car started life with a Citron Green (light green/gold color) exterior.

Ended up Silver with a black interior...

The car is dark green and is the original color. I've done a complete tune-up and brought the engine bay back to looking stock. I've changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, etc. Tonight I put on the Monroe Sensa-trac shocks on the rear. Man, what a difference. It did raise the back about an inch. The hemi scoop goes on this next weekend. Then the new carpet, door panels, etc. I'll post some pictures later on next week. MMG
