Engine Install and Break-In

I had Isky solids in mine. I broke it in with oil additive for the cam. The important thing is to make the first running at least 30 minutes long (don't shut it off). I left the radiator cap off in case of a leak or an overheating problem so I would be able to add water without shutting it off. I ran it at about 1600 RPM reving it lightly (2300 RPM) occasionally. I know it's a dumb mistake but mine wouldn't start and I found the dist. was 180 out. It happens more often then you think so triple check it. The last thing you want is to just keep cranking it dry. Here's a video of mine.
