Hello All

Just joining now. Finally getting around to project I had to set aside 25 years ago. 66 model year, bought as orig 6 cyl with AT in 1983. Transplanted 72 340 in 86. Took eng apart due to piston to valve clearance issue. Transferred overseas mil duty - returned in 1990. Been in storage since. Plenty of work to be done. Observation: More aftermarket parts available now than in early 80's.

Lots of good info the group has going. I may have some questions for those who have made the transition to 340 with manual transmission, upgraded suspension, brakes, etc.
