Would this look stupid?

-
Dont know if it would look stupid, but it wouldnt be my choice.

Oh, and your car looks sweet blacked out with those rims !

Yeah, idk, I don't know how it would go with the shape of the rest of the car (too curvy for the car), and thanks!

It looks stupid on that truck so yes i'd say it would look stupid on a dart...sorry for being honest.

It's hard to say, But it does have the AAR Cuda look. Are you looking for more room under the hood? If so it's a good choice I think :mrgreen:
I see they don't have anything for 66 model barracuda's, But I am used to seeing that everywhere... 66 is the first and the last.. Body line changes that is.:pirate:

yeah, reason why I was looking at hoods is because I can't use my original air cleaner, I had to jerry-rig some weird looking one from Walmart after I put on the carb spacer

I did this, I moved the battery to the trunk and used a 94 Jeep 4.0 breather
Your engine will enjoy some nice cool air

I like the AAR hood. I've also seen the '66 SuperStock scoop (not the bug catcher) on a 70 model Swinger. It was painted body color and looked like it belonged on the car.

I don't like it. Like the scoops you have now way better. Just need to get a drop base air filter and you should be good to go.

on initial blush , I can see how it has potential . IMO , I'd go --- dare I use this term these days ---"retro" with its paint / colour scheme .
To wit :

- Paint the hood body colour ( looks like you're going with FJ6 ? ) ;

- "Black-out" the scooped portion ;

- Add a custom decal to the hood , with something to the effect of
" TA/RT " or "D-AAR-T " .

May not look too bad at all ...
