Tilt/Tele Steering?
Anyone ever installed a tilt/telescoping column into an A-body? More specifically, an early A? Did any A-bodies ever come with this option?
My problem- and this happens to me in most new cars as well- I have to sit really far away from the steering wheel due to my apparently freakishly long legs but then I can't reach the steering wheel while sitting comfortably. Actually it's not a problem yet because the seat doesn't go back far enough but I'll remedy that problem later. (I'm not even like "Hightower" tall from Police Academy!)
I saw the ones from "ididit" but holy moly are they expen$ive!
Seems like I could adapt one from something else for way less than $1000 and maybe incorporate a collapsible column too, in case of crash. Maybe I should find a C-body column and start chopping. :jocolor:
