Hemi Yes or No

When Hemis were originally banned by Nascar it was because they
were so much faster that they enjoyed a huge and unfair advantage
over any conventional wedge headed powerplant.

The Ford Boss 429 (Hemi-headed) was developed specifically to stem
the onslaught of the all-conquering Chryslers.

Nascar outlawed them both and instituted the 358 cubic inch rule before
things got further out of hand.

The superiority of the Hemi is precisely why no one is allowed to use it.
