Morale Problem

Ricky Nelson said it a long time ago, "You can't please everyone, so you have to please yourself!"

LOL! "Garden Party"! Man, that's a blast from the past, but he's absolutely right. If you have a vision and and your not trying to turn a profit, go for it. The hell with everyone else. I'm building a '74 Ramcharger right now, and it's truly a labor of love. I will never make a profit on this beast, but it will suit my needs perfectly for far less than I can buy a new truck. It will tow the fiance's race car to the track, tow the my A-Body of choice when I finally get one, and take me fishing and camping here in Colorado in places that "Fake 4WD" could never go. I'll have about 8 grand in it including the purchase price ($400) and I'd be lucky to get $3500 when it's done.
But...I'll get 100,000 miles out of it, and it will be done exactly the way I want it with no compromises.

F what everyone else thinks. If this Valiant will suit your needs and give you that "Super Fine Riding Feeling" when it's done and you're cruising, stick with it and see it out till the end. Be paitent, it takes time to do good work. If you truly have doubts (and I mean you, not your "friends") sell it now then decide what you want. Don't build what you don't want unless there's some money in it for you.

Maybe this will perk you up! Here's a pic of my Ramcharger progress, Just got the engine in!
