I have a set of heads that I just got, I disassembled them and the valves have a ton of carbon buildup on them. I took a dremel with a sandpaper wheel to them. It's doing the trick, but taking forever. Anyone know of any chemicals I could just spray on them and wipe them clean?

hi, get a bench grinder with a wire wheel on it. this is the easist and best way to clean carbon off. if you knick the stem or valve face with sand paper, you'll mess up the valve.

Hello! I use CRC Gasket Remover. It`s working great on carbon buildup.
Just spray it on and wait 1-3 min and then wipe it of.

LOL, I dumped my in a basket/bucket of carb cleaner for a day. I came back to near mint valves. The wire wheel took care of the rest. (Soft wire.)
