Would switching to a 5.7 Timing Cover a good idea? I'm just looking at hemijoejr setup. It Looks oldschool and Im an use my old Radiator too. Are the waterpump pulleys in different positions? It looks very high on a 5.7.
It is very high compaired to an LA engine. It might be the motor mounts? I used an aftermarket, reverse rotation Flex-a-lite fan mounted to the stock fan clutch. I also used a modified upper water neck and found hoses to atach to my 26in rad. It works well! One of the hardest parts is working with the 7 groove belts. they have big gaps between sizes unlike the 6 groove belts.
