Charlie Flippin' Sheen ( cocaine decisions )

No doubt! Actually Zappa said "drugs are for a**holes."
One of my heroes. You wouldn't know it from that song but he was a musical genius and a pioneer, who accomplished an incredible amount of work in his lifetime. He never gave up, through accidents, lawsuits, government targets, or illness.

The Deep Purple song "Smoke On The Water" was written about the night when Zappa's band played at the Montreaux Casino in Geneva and some idiot fired a flare towards the stage and the place burned to the ground.

He even has species of fish, jellyfish, bacteria and an asteroid named after him!
Zappa was such an amazing artist , as were his various band mates .
There's the common misconception that Frank was a "stoner" or "druggie" ; quite the opposite was true ! He tried marijuana once and despised it .
Certainly , he smoked cigarettes and lots of them ; at least that's legal
( albeit very criminalised these days ... boy how times change ) , and only affected him .

My favourite songs of his are -- but not limited to -- the following :
- "We Are Not Alone"
- "The Torture Never Stops"
- "Who Are The Brain Police ?"
- "Peaches En Regalia"
- "Hot Rats"
- "In-A-Gada-Stravinski" ( amazing piece !! )

It's great seeing so many other Zappa fans :thumrigh:
