Glad to see you were able to get the car. It is in real good hands now. The moving pictures are a nice addition.

We had talked of this in an earlier chapter. We have to keep ahead of the tech curve or the other
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:

threads will steel our thunder, LMAO!!!
I'm still having trouble accepting my still digital nikon we have all gotten to know and love the past 2 years has finally took a dump. Broke it when we fell at a car show, not drinking just taking pics while walking. Just look at Clara's last pics. I took over 100 pics 40 tossed, 30 still too dark and about 10 good ones. I'm still learning the digi cam. ABB doing all the vid posting till I catch up.
(My Nikon won't go down witout a fight. I am finding used bodies suposedly working order for $50.00-$200.00) LOL You should have seen me whine when film went to the toilet. Still miss Black and white TV and Tube set radios!:glasses8:
Plans are in the works for an ABB/ME, the BBTurd and FABO to go on an extended
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:

trip VERY SOON. It will be about a 3 hour excursion in the back hills of the Hoosier State, very much like our 1st chapter with BOF.
Except this time
THERE WILL BE MOVIES WITH SOUND!! WO!
It should be quite the trip. ABB has scoped out a big route to see cars she has spotted while driving for company business. It's best to go this time of year because now we can see through the tall weeds, briars, and thickets.

Well chryslerfat, have a good one. Same to the rest of FABO too. Don't forget to tune in next time for the very next, New & Improved, "DIGITAL TAKLIES" version, of the newest
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:cool:

(Mindless Self promo) LOL!:glasses8:

Congrats on the new car! Hard to believe it was so close to home...

Even harder to believe it's been the next town over teasing me for 11 months and 2 days counting today..........LMAO!!!

This has been a entertaining read. Thank You and Congrats on the new Dart

I have found a secret stash of cars. I also found a new junk yard that 64dart170 don't know about. There were cars everywhere.

Nice! I like the Vega if priced right. For some reason I always wanted to put a V8 in one after seeing a few growing up.

The place is deserted. I want that Thunderbird. I am going to take the other half with me to check it out. The junk yard is down the road and maybe they will know something.

Used to be Vega Wagon up here that had a Toronado drive train under the rear... 455 Transaxle all in the rear... Had the original engine up front for ballast.

Beautiful 74 Swinger, would probably break my neck if I saw it going the other direction. :supz:

Whoaaaa . . . Lex just gave me chills, especially with the gate being open a crack . . . lol glad to see ya busy and good luck on the 74 purchase! Rog

You're too funny!
You crack me up! yeah Lex is wicked vicious! LMAO!!

Congrats on the new car! Hard to believe it was so close to home...

Funny thing,
The car was originally sold at the Dodge dealer that used to be in our home town of Aurora! It just moved back up river where it belongs!!
Check the paperwork!

Nice to see you have all the papers with the new one.

No window sticker but man that invoice more than made up for it. Still tracking the well hidden build sheet!:clock:
Looked down at the key chain fob, it glows in the dark and was put on that set of keys at that dealer when bought new!! it still has the dealer name on it too!

Very cool, and they ordered it with the sure grip.

Teach an old dog something here....
The sure grip is not posi trac and will brake loose (peel out) on pass side only leaving only 1 skid mark.......correct?????:read2:
If not and should peel both sides then they just charged for it and didn't put it on there!!
Today while washing on pass side under door on rocker one of the spear molding pins is 1" lower than the trim and has a taller white plastic clip sticking out and under spear molding!!! WTF????!!!! Looked like the clips used on the SE's with the wider molding. Must have been built on monday or friday!!:angry7:

Getcher waders boys & girls, were going on another muddy adventure and another chapter of
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:glasses2:

I get a call today from a nice lady wanting to sell me her 1989 LeBaron GTC Turbo with a blown motor out between her fields on the fence line. Can't get to it till freeze or dry but she was getting sample prices to see who she was going to use.
Long story short; (if ya can believe that)

"There's another 10 or a dozen over the hill. We drug em down there when the county was getting on us years ago."

"Are they older or newer than the 89 LeBaron?"

"Oh thems alot older than that leBaron!"

"Well, before I give you sample pricing you mentioned it being too much work to get the lost title paperwork done. Why don't I come out, take a look at them all. While I'm down there, I'll get pics, descriptions and vin numbers of each for you and that will make it easier to take in to the DMV."

"How much is that gonna cost me?"

"Free mam, when would you like me to come out?"

"Well what's your pricing like first."

.....

"Wow! That's a good price, can ya come out tonight or in the morning?"
" I was also wondering if ya could price my 71 or 72 baby Blue Pinto for me. It's a little different though, it's been stored in the garage and the insides look like new. Can ya give me a price with all the cars and the pinto for one price?"

"Yep"

Calling her at 8AM and Yard Dawg, FOTO, Me, and you (FABO) will all be going with me. only this time it will probibly be more video than still pics untill I get my new camera body. (I'm trying to get one that's fall resistant when car oogling 50 year old falls on top of it)

Also; We will be going for the next chapter right away again later that evening. ABB, me, and FABO will be going to see 3 Nash Metropolitan parts/project rollers!! We are going to try for all 3 to make 1 good one for us! We'll see if that one flys! Those are the only car with fender skirts at both ends LOL!!!:love7:
Well FABO......whatcha think??..... You ready for 2 more
CAR HUNT! FABOZENE:glasses2:
chapters in a row on the same day with only vids and a couple of pics??
Bet we see some other back woods Hoosier shtuff too!!!
