Haven't looked at this for quite awhile but at one time I figured that it was just as cheap or cheaper to buy a new dana 60 from moser as to start fresh with an 8 3/4 (housing - center section - posi unit - gears - axles - brakes etc)
Just ran quick price for moser dana 60 around 2k for an a body without brakes
