Will this work? I know the Positive cable in the set they list for my '64 Barracuda looks EXACTLY like the one that was on it when I bought it in '74. I just hate to pay the price. :-D

I just took my old one to the local auto parts store and got one about the same length.
If you don't have your original, take some string, run the string as if it were the cable, measure the string…….. Then go to the local auto parts store.
You are really over thinking something that is very simple.
