Cal-Trac

Not even close and I'm sure the guys that want to spout the MP chassis book will be in here to hit me with said book any minute. Cal Tracks will work better than SS springs on a car running those times.

Cal Tracks and SS springs work using different principles. Cal Tracks need a spring that basically soft and only holds the car up. SS springs work on the idea of a very rigid front segment.

Good shocks, better than the old long truck shocks that SS spring seem to like, are a must with Cal Tracks.

Want to go fast, spend more time/money/energy in the front end of the car than the rear.

What he said. If you go Cal Tracs, also go with their split monoleafs. By the way, my car has SS springs. There's no doubt in my mind that Caltracs are better. They do cost more, though.
