Cal-Trac

I read somewhere that in order for the Caltracs to work right you need a good amount of front end lift, anybody know if this is true or not?? Also have read that Bills Alter-K does not allow enough "up"-travel for the Caltracs to work????

Lift in the front and Drop in the rear! They just stop leafspring windup/wheelhop and keep the pinion angle in line.

S/S springs are Very stiff! They also bend at the front with a bigblock!

The Cal-trac Monoleaf is the way to go.

I built my own and used the 383 S rear springs that came in the Cuda, less than a $100.. Don't know if the rear setup will hold the guesstimated 1000HP very long tho!
