Where did you guys find your 8 3/4's?

I've had originals for years, since I've had quite a few 273s, 340s and even a 383 "A" body car. Lately I've had a housing shortened by Mosers to get a big bolt pattern rear with the original track length for the 67 Cuda. I take it you want a big bolt pattern axles. There is no cheap route but when you get there you will be done. The cheapest route is to have a housing cut down and have a set of non-tapered axles shortened. Mine came from a 70's truck, but station wagons also have long axles. The best place to get a center section is here. It takes very little to add a sure grip later if you can't afford one now. Get a center section with the gears you want. It does'nt matter what set, they are all strong. Do it right and do it once...
