Buying Parts from Canada

I'm not trying to be anti-Canadian. My son's best friend lives in Ottawa. I like Canadians, I DON'T LIKE PAYING EXTRA TAXES!

I just started this thread to warn people buying between countries of the hidden taxes that may come up when dealing across the border.

There is good feedback stating to use the post office and not FedEx & UPS. My part was shipped FedEx.

I do not wish to start a name calling campaign between the Canadians and Americans. There is enough negativity out there (slantsixdan) that we don't need to fuel into a insult/bashing spree.

I have a few comebacks for slantsixdan, but I will just keep them to myself and be the man and walk away.

Let's just use the positive information that came out of this post that IF YOU DO MAKE PARTS DEALS ACROSS THE BORDER, USE THE POST OFFICE AND NOT FEDEX & UPS. This is good information and I thank the poster who brought it up.

There is a great knowledge out on FABO, and if you post your problems, someone may be able to offer some advice that will help or solve your problem. For all of those who want to bash and insult people here, just keep it to yourself. Take a 10 - 15 minute walk and calm down. Your insults do not help anybody or anything.
