Drive Like You Stole it... I did and I will....

Well no luck find the proportioning valve,so ordered one from Inline tubes yesterday.
Earlier this week I decided to save the J heads for my 340.Really want to put RHS on it from Brian, but need the funds to finish this project so I pulled the magnum heads off my 360 motor that I purchased from a guy that had it build by a local machine shop for his truck.Speed Pro pistons,Hughes RV cam, lifters and valve springs, stock crank and rods, balanced at flex plate.........never ran...
CC'd the chamber and were at 63cc,sent to machine shop to mill heads to 60cc and to check valve to retainer clearance for my lift with the adjustable 1.6 rockers.
Well they are good to go.
Tomorrow I work half a day at shop doing emission state inspections and then the fun begins.
I am going to install the heads and check valve to piston clearance and if all is well,
I am going to install heads, intake and headers.

Pictures of the stock magnum heads with Hughes valve springs and Crane push-rod guides that will not be installed,I got some comp guides and need hardened push rods.
Picture of the 360 I am robbing parts off of.
I will be using the Hughes oil through lifter out of the 360 as well.
Here are some picture of bare J heads rusty but no cracks, going cost money to rework them....
Post more pictures tomorrow.
