I was under my car today and noticed that one of my mufflers is installed backwards. One says inlet on the front and the other says it on the back. I just had this exhaust welded up about a month ago. Anyways, my question is do I need to go back and get it fixed? Or is it even going to effect my power? I've heard of people running their mufflers backwards before. What do you guys think, should I make a big deal about it or not even bother?

If you paid someone to install it I would make a stink. If you did it yourself I don't knwo how it will affect the car. I would assume you will have different back pressure but what that will do I do not know.

The manufacturer put those directions on there for a reason...take the car back and have them installed correctly.

go on the flowmaster site and see if you can find some cutaway views, you will see why they need to be run in the correct direction.

take it back and tell the idiots to put it on right...
