Finally got the valiant running the past few days. Got the new brakes on it to make it drivable and besides a little vaccum leak it drove like it has been running for years. The drive that I took it on, from my dads shop to my sisters house, was the longest its been on in 9 years!!!

Very cool, that's an accomplishment. You've got a sweet little Valiant there that deserves some TLC, and appreciates it too I bet.:love7:

So glad to hear you have your Valiant up and running :supz:
These early A's are great daily drivers and are very light \\:D/
Keep up the good work and looking forward to your next move

Your 65 is alive :wav: How many miles to your sisters house from your dad's shop ?

I do have to say it looked allot better going down the road than it did just sitting at the shop..You will have a lot of fun with as the early a bodies are a fun ride.

yea cant wait to get started on it. its going to be so much fun. thanks guys i will definetly keep posting pics along the way for how it is going. i would say its like 15 miles from the shop to my sisters house. :-D

Congrats!! Thats really what I need to get me going,a ride in a traditional MoPar! Been years sisnce I had that old cop car (yep, miss it!) but that was the last rwd mopar I owned.

Just a little update on the progress, got it to start up on the first try a few times even when it was cold, got an air cleaner for it, changed the oil, new plugs and even drove it for a while. It would then keep dying but we got it possiby fixed because of the carburetor. So after a great day yesterday started to sand today and what do I find out, the gas tank leaks, cant catch a break lol
