I was recently told that I have severe carpal tunnel and if surgery does not happen SOON I will possibly lose the feeling/use of my left hand. Wife went and had her yearly Mammo done and was told she needed to come back in for a more thorough exam. They found what they hope are just some crystals. Said it could be cancer in its early stage....As if being disabled due to lupus (her) and mental issues (me) aint enough....

Hang in there, I will says some words to man upstairs for you and your wife.

Sorry to hear about your wife, hopefully alls good.I had the carpal tunnel done on both wrists 24 yrs ago. It,s a breeze and was a relief to know I wouldn,t lose the use of my hands(I was a young 24yrs old when I had it severe in both hands)Good luck.

Hang in there ink, I hope and pray that this is good they found the the posable!!cancer in its early stage, My wife had a lump removed and had us worried but it ended up being benign "how ever you spell it" and all is good now for her.
Get your left had fixed ink, it is a easy fix for a good dr. Treva had it dun to here right hand due to typing.
Prayers being sent to set your mind at ease that this will pass and your wife will get some good news.

I know how you feel, that life can sure deal you a bad hand at times. Praying for you and your wife.

Hey Buddy! Chin up,it has to get better. I'd get the surgery done on my wrist soon then. Are you on a waiting list? No fear there btw,you will regain full use after surg;I've seen a few guys get it done and it's no big deal. Just means you caint whack off with that hand for a while,lol...

Went to Ernie's rheumatologist today. She has been seeing him for a while but this was the first I met him. Hell of a nice guy. He told us that the markers that he has been watching are holding steady, they are actually lower than when she was taking the humira. She has lupus, fibro and psoriatic arthritis. He is at a loss as to why she hurts as bad as she does, other than to say that it is probably from the fibro. He suggested that she has the material removed, said crystals are a very common thing and that they can often lead to cancer. Now we play the waiting game for everything. The guy that is going to operate on me is laid up until the second week of April. I just want to get my crap out of the way. Have not heard anything about her biopsy yet.

Dude! Hey man, keep up the spirits, it sounds like you got a good doc there and the Mrs. is in good hands. Why's the doc doing your surgery laid up? Carpel Tunnel?

Sorry to hear about all this Ink. My best hopes go to both of you. The fact your doctor caught the cancer early (if it is cancer) is a good thing. Try to keep a chin up man, I know it's tough!

Keep up the spirits Ink, let your wife know that we're rooting for her. My wife and I went through the same thing last year. Her test came back negative thank god. Hope the best for you guys to.

Sorry to hear about everything Doug, the one thing on your side is having a great doc, having a great doc is priceless.....prayers are sent for you and Ernie!!

Prayers on the way for you and Ernie....stay strong and keep your attitude positive!!

My sympathies. My arthritis used to be just irritating. This last year it has become much more. I can barely walk, now, and if I'm awake, I hurt. If it wasn't for the two--post lift I installed, I could not do any mechanics, anymore.

Dang Ink, sorry to hear. I struggle with carpel tunnel myself, but not enough to have surgery, and nothing like that going on with my wife. No idea what you are going through.

I say some prayers for you.

Thanks for your support, means more than you folks will ever know. Forgot about it the other day and grabbed the seat belt with my wrist twisted the wrong way, had tears in my eyes. Have not slept thru the night in 3 months or so, crap is getting old....

I used to wrench all the time, but those days are past. I know that feeling. I only wrench onec in awhile now and I can't even go half as wild as I can. Every project I do now MUST be done slow and easy.

Alot of guys laff at work when I tell'em, "Yea, did brakes today. Took all day." They all LOL and ask why. I just cover and say, "Well, theres coffee brake, breakfest brake, coffee again break, then came lunch, then after lunch coffee, and then nap time, of course, coffee after the nap and ten someone stopped by, so, there was chat break....."

I mention that I'm not in biz anymore. Anything I do, must be done slow or I did the day wrong. The job is easy. Doing the day right is a different story. If it don't take all day, I did it wrong!

2 days ago, while doing chin ups, the bar let loose while I was up top and I fell, fast, bam! On my back before I knew it. That was one quick fall. From about 7 feet.
Outta work 3 days and counting.

Sorry to hear about you and your wife prayers are sent.
