I have a Hurst 4 speed shifter handle that I don't need and I need money to keep on working on the Valiant. I guess it came out of an F-body but will fit an A-body although its a little close to the seat if its in a bench seat car. The crome is in really good condition. Just a few specks of rust at the bottom that is covered up by the shifter boot. *This is just the handle for sale*
$100, located in Orange County N.Y. Will take paypal. PM for details.

That looks like the slip in not the bolt in, right? I think I need one of those to replace the straight one in the wagon. How did you get the handle out?

To answer your question, there is a little tab in the shiter mechanism the slips into a grove in the handle and locks it in place. To release it you just need to slip a feeler gauge between the shifter and the handle to release the tab from the grove than you can just pull it out. 8)
