how much hp can i run on the stock 74 duster body before i need to beef it up? or would it be a good idea to add subframe connectors anyway?

subframe connectors are a good idea on any car. But to answer your question I would think whatever power the 68/69 Dart GSS put out with the 440, they had same untouched undercarriage as your Duster. I would say 350 hp but it would be difficult to be consistent if you want to race it.

well...sounds good. i guessed i would probably do it anyways. There is a pair on summit for $150 which doesn't seem like too bad of a price

hey, i just noticed.... 66340sedan, you're from St. Cloud you ever get up here in brainerd much to do any racing in the summer?

Look up Big Block Dart.Com for subframe connectors. The pictures and text are awsome

Every Mopar made from unibody regardless of powertrains should get frame connectors...lol. There are real nice ones from US Car Tool (sorry I named it wrong before this edit...lol) down to the cheapest I know is Mancini Racing's MP bolt in set, that I buy and simply weld in place. They all work well, and will save door edges, hinges, and windshields...lol.
