strange question but do they make a high rise intake in a single carb? if so who and where can i get it?

Actualy, the strange question would be do they make a low level single plane intake for the engine. All single plane intakes are a high rise design. Unless you have a street dominator from Holley.

so what do guys do that have to 6-pack hood and have one carb to get it up there
Say HUH!?
You can always put a spacer between the intake and the carb to increase the height. Just make sure you know what effect the increased plenum volume is going to have on your engine combo - may be either negative or positive depending on your combination and what style spacer your use.
There's a lot more science that goes into this than just thinking "raise the carb to make it look cool".

...............u used 2 b able 2 get a single carb tunnel ram.........kim...........
Put a velocity stack on it. Run a Moroso pie pan and stick the velocity stack on top of that and through the hood into the scoop. the foam on the pie pan will seal to the hood and the velocity stack will be your only source of incomming air. I've done it several times. Works good.

Weiand made a high rise tunnel ram with a single 4 barrel carb plenum along with the dual 4. They still sell the dual quad Hi Ram #1967 for 440's or at least last year. Best bet for the single 4 is ebay.
