Hello out there,

For those the have had installed a spring relocation kit , what did you do for the exhaust?

Mine currently runs straight to the back. With a relocation kit and a stock fuel tank is it still possible. If not did you just dump them in front of the rear axle??

Thanks

There's a member here, 408Demon I think, has the 3/4" offset kit with 2.5 pipes out to the bumper. I think 3" will work if it's not routed between the tank tank & leaf spring. The 3" relocation kit requires a fuel cell to exit out the bumper. At least according to TTI.

Nice shot and welcome aboard. Way to go jumping in and helping with the first post @ FABO! Woo Hoo!

Got some more eye candy at the ready??????????

may be possible to do a diferent routing of the pipes tight under the framrail and and overt the spring angled out behind the wheels and then turn it back again towards the bumper outside the springs, not sure since i have never tried it,basicly the way its done on gen1&2 GM F-bodys with pipes out the back but with alitle more space to use betwen spring and fender.. but i doubt you will find a kit made like that.

How about stacks thru the trunk? I have some pictures of cars with tail pipes with the 3" relocation kit, just need to find them again........but it can be done. Worse case you can visit http://www.hotrodcitygarage.com/indexA.html .A while back I spoke to them about trimming the tank and making it deeper to regain the capacity and was told they would be able to.....

I talked to TTI on the phone once & they told me that their 2 1/2" & 3" kits for the early A's would work with offset spring hangers, but I kinda' wonder how close things would be.

Over the rear. Through the springs and out behind the rear tires.

Thanks for all of the replys.
After a quick check I may have to go with just offsets. The 3" may be a problem with the convertable top when lowered.

I just want to put bigger tires on..................
