The 40th Annual Antique Drags are going at Barona this Sunday. '75 and older can play. I plan on taking the Duster out, I'll just have to take it a little easy.

That looks fun, $20 is a little steep for a seat, but maybe someday. I can get both my kids in free still.....
 
Tech and entry is $50. Seats are $20 for adults, $10 youth, and kids free. They jacked up their prices for this one, it's usually $30 for tech and driver and $10 for spectators.
 
Had a good time. Got 12 runs in. Consistently ran 7.17-7.19 in the good lane, kept spinning in the other lane. 1.55-1.6 60' times in the good lane. Tried race fuel towards the end and didn't get any faster, so tried a couple degrees timing and still stayed 7.17-7.19, but it was a lot warmer than the early runs.

I enjoyed watching you run. You beat a lot of cars, with much more money in them. Mabe see my fellow Moparheads at Fall Fling ? Enjoy, ateam.:happy6:
 
Thanks! It was cool that they relaxed the rules some for the antique drags so I didn't have to worry about watching my time. There were a lot of cool cars there. I can't believe that skinny slicked early Nova that was pulling mid 6's...that guy blew past me. He told me later he was running juice and a delay and kept the skinnies for a sleeper look...it worked!
 
There was a blue one there. I have pics of me beating it twice. The one I'm talking about was a multi-colored '64-65. IIRC, the main color was a dark burgundy color, but had white fenders and a black hood. I'll have to see if I have a pic. It has 7" wide slicks.

Sounds like a fun time. I need to make it out there one day. Would of went but I was at MATS. Ran a 9.669 @ 72.15 up there in the 1/8th.
 
Why were you running 1/8 at MATS?
I saw your car at Spring Fling, didn't see you though. At least I think it was yours.

Ya it's a 1/4. Just gave you the 1/8th of the time card. I ran a 15.110 @ 90.44 in the 1/4. Think I could of got in to the 14's if i had another run or two.

I was at the Fling on Satuday. Sorry I missed you. Will be at the Fall Fling so maybe will see you then or at Grand.
