I love to build mopar model cars, i have recently purchased a few from another member to build. i wanted to start this thread to show off some models that i will be building soon. i want some ideas on what you would like me to build. if you guys and gals want me to replicate your car and post the results feel free to post a pix of your ride on this thread, i cant promise i'll build every car but i will see if i can build a few if the kit or similar kit is available. this is a just for fun thread.

Here is the first one i have done for this thread , my own 69 dart

i will be building a shelby charger soon and a couple of daytonas not the winged ones. Donated mopar kits are greatly accepted

I was just going through some of my stuff after a year layoff. I need to get the bug again. I have been saving parts for my Swinger build but don't want to spend the 40$ on the resin body. Hoping for some kind of rerelease. There is some great talent here as you have seen and I look forward to seeing your builds.

I build all winter long. Got over 100 built kits, and another 80-90 yet to
build. Of all the kits I have only 5-6 are non Mopar.
Here is mine in small scale, on the lift.

have you thought of checking for a demon kit/ you could then cut the front off a 68 dart kit and clone your 71

Starting to think that will never happen.:sad5: Where you at Revell? LOL

Some one did make a 70 Dart. MPC I think? It was a Petty dirt track car though with the fenders cut all up and is hard to find now a days. But if you could find one you may be able to bash it :naka: with a 68 or 69 kit.

Nice work Shafer. I am a plan builder but have some thing like 30 Mopar kits I need to build. Need more shelf space and time. Mabby if I got off the net:hiding:

that petty dart is obsolite and rare- if you find it it will cost big bucks and it is not a kit i would want to cut up- i have wanted one of those kits for years b/c i have a petty model collection

There is a 70 Dart rerelease...Hemi somthing..it has a blown Hemi in the trunk. That might be my best bet. I would just have to do some scratch building for sure.

Looks great! A lot better than pieces in a box, if I do say so myself! :-] Where's the patch? I think you should take a pic of it with the Charger.

cool models,i have about 90 built, not all mopar but all the streetrods have hemis and my 40 ford coupe a 440.lol
